A dessert apple from a seedling raised by nurseryman Alfred Jolibois in the Burgundy region (France) during the 1940s. Medium size and round to round-conic. Green base with a dark red blush and some striping with a lilac blush at maturity. The flesh is greenish, firm, fine-grained. Sweet tart, with strawberry and vanilla flavors. Moderately vigorous and produces heavy crops.
