Adapted throughout the nation and among the best backyard choices. The fruit is juicy and sweet with buttery texture and very good keeping abilities. Extremely resistant to fireblight, and quite cold hardy (to -20?F). Discovered in Hattiesburg, Mississippi by noted horticulturist T. O. Warren. The fruits are medium to large, have a teardrop shape and green skin. Needs a pollenizer.
