Acme
Acme apple was raised by W P Seabrook & Sons, Boreham , Essex, UK in 1944 from the seedling of a Worcester Pearmain x Rival possibly pollinated by Cox's Orange Pippin. Quite large, irregular flat-round shaped fruit. Pretty crimson flush and stripes over a smooth yellow skin. Crisp, juicy yellow flesh. Quite rich, fruity flavor. Moderately vigorous tree. Heavy cropping but biennial.
